In addition, HTC has posted ANOTHER hotfix for the Touch Diamond 2. This is the 2nd hotfix already, I posted the other one just last month. This one is a Hotfix for removing the start recording function during a voice call for HTC Touch Diamond2.

Blogging has became a way of life for many and when this happens you have to become creative and like in any other job arm yourself with a set of tools that will allow you to be the best. Because that’s what is it about. People pay you for blogging because you are the best or at least one of the best.
My fellow blogger Steve from UMPCPortal has posted a very good article about his experiences streaming live video for his blog. It’s really interesting to see how he has managed to create a fully portable/mobile solution using an UMPC.
I spent some time testing different webcams, microphones and configurations and have come up with a 2KG setup that will allow you to do live, mobile broadcasting over Ustream with reasonable quality. The total cost of the solution is under 00 and the setup can not only be used for live streaming but can be used as a complete Ultra Mobile live blogging solution.
Yeah, we can probably safely leave this one in the file we found it in: you know, the one marked “never going to happen.” Regardless, when we spied this little dude on Unwired View, we thought we’d pass along the weirdness. Unearthed in a Sony Ericsson patent application mysteriously dubbed “Mobile Terminal,” what we have here is a bracelet mobile phone concept, sort of reminiscent of LG’s infamous GD910 watch phone. This one’s got some added fun in the form of keys on the side of the wristband for a fuller typing experience. Like we said, it’s never going to happen, but that won’t really stop us from hoping.
We can say with confidence after perusing the Axle’s specifications that the most exciting thing about this phone is the unusual name. The new flip from Samsung is launching today on US Cellular for after rebate on contract ( for existing customers), offering a VGA camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, and not bloody much else. As far as we can tell from the specs and pricing in the remainder of US Cellular’s lineup, that’s about too much — but then again, we’ll admit, the name alone might be worth the cost of admission.
It’d originally been available to a random, totally select group of elite individuals, but availability of the HTC Touch Pro2 on Vodafone UK has now opened up to pretty much anyone who wants it. As is virtually always the case with European carriers, you can get this monster for as little as absolutely nothing depending on the contract and plan that you choose, so dive in and sign your life away for a couple years, won’t you?
In 2004, it was all about iPodding your BMW, but in 2009, it’s all about Palming it. No, not “palming” as in concealing your car in the palm of your hand — “Palming,” you know, as in the act of hardwiring a Touchstone into your center console so that you can charge a Pre on the road with the greatest of ease. Ironically, this modern marvel of technology is mounted right where the iDrive controller would normally go, which means you’re stuck making the nearly impossible choice between this hack and BMW’s.
It’s pretty gross in NY right now — sure, you’ve seen rain before, but you’ve never really experienced it until you’ve seen the grit and determination of these city folk wandering around in a light downpour with their 0 umbrellas. That’s why it comes as zero surprise to see that despite the ongoing drizzle, a few brave souls have gathered in front of Apple’s flagship store to be among the first in the States to get an iPhone 3G S tomorrow morning. Sure, they could’ve pre-ordered for delivery and stayed dry, but what’s the fun in that? So far it’s four friends from The iLife blog keeping each other company, with plans to upgrade one of the crew’s original iPhones (for that attractive full subsidy price). These guys also braved the mayhem of the iPhone 3G launch, and who knows if they’ll wise up before the next one. By 7AM tomorrow they’ll have spent 24 hours in the elements — quite a lot of commitment for a phone, but hey, that video recording bit is pretty neat, and male bonding is forever. Meet these guys and their cloud-sent adversary on video after the break, and check out the read link for their ongoing liveblog of the launch — naturally courtesy of some iPhone 3.0 tethering.
Sony Ericsson’s official spokesperson, Maria Sharapova, was on hand recently to unveil a student-designed prototype of a Bluetooth-enabled dress. The iridescent scales that run up one side of the dress move and light up when the phone rings, enabling its owner to know about calls even in noisy places (so says the dress’s maker, Georgie Davies). Yes, it’s just a prototype for now, but it’s a pretty cute dress, so hopefully we’ll see these hit the streets at some point in the (nearish) future.
You know what’s a better name than myTouch 3G? Well, just about anything — but we especially like the name that T-Mobile Netherlands has allegedly chosen for its next Android phone, the simple, elegant “G1 Touch.” We don’t know what phone this’ll be, necessarily — the G1 trademark is owned by T-Mobile, so technically, we suppose this could even be a non-HTC device — but odds are this is the local market’s version of the HTC Magic that’s now been launched on a number of carriers around the world. We can all agree this is a pretty good name, yeah?
