iBUYPOWER is a company that has all sorts of computer systems that it sells. The machines run from entry-level rigs up to fully optioned gaming machines that cost a fortune. iBP announced today that shoppers looking to get a new computer can now get some of the gaming rigs with the new NVIDIA GTX 560 Ti video card that debuted yesterday.
The new video card can be added as an option to the popular LAN Warrior II, Paladin XLC, and Level 10 gaming machines. I am a big fan of that Level 10 gaming rig, which is one of the coolest cases ever and looks very futuristic. It reminds me of a personal computer that would have been found in Atlantis on Stargate: Atlantis.
The GTX 560 Ti is an impressive video card on its own and doesn’t cost too much. The card has a MSRP of $250 and promises to deliver some very impressive performance in DX 11 games and older DX 10 and 9 titles as well. The card is a good choice for the gamer on a budget.
AMD makes some great processors that gamers and all sorts of other computer users like to cram inside their machines. After years of AMD not being found in many machines thanks to some nefarious practice sat Intel, the AMD parts are now found everywhere. iBUYPOWER has announced that it is adding AMD-powered gaming machines to its line of gaming desktop computers.
The AMD parts will find their way into the high-end XLC extreme liquid cooled gaming machines that sit at the top of the iBUYPOWER line. The machines will get the new Phenom II X6 1055T, 1075T, and 1090T 6-core processors. All of those AMD parts get the Asetek maintenance free 240mm large radiator liquid cooling system.
The machines also use 8GB of RAM and get graphics via a Radeon HD 5770 video card and 1TB of storage space. The gaming rigs are crammed inside a NZXT Phantom case in black or white colors. The Mage XLC gaming computers start at $1,099 and can be purchased right now.
A new high-end video card hit the market yesterday from NVIDIA called the GTX 580. With the coming of a new high-end video card, we all knew that shortly there would be hoards of new gaming rigs hitting the market using the video card and iBuyPower has now stepped up with three new offerings running the cool card.
The new gaming desktops include the LAN Warrior II, Paladin XLC, and the Gamer Paladin F875. The three new computers all have the GTX 580 with 17% more performance than previous generation video cards while using less power. The Paladin XLC V2 is a liquid cooled machine with a radiator with dual 120mm fans. The machine has a Core i7 960 CPU, 6GB of RAM, an LG Blu-ray player, 850W PSU, and 1TB of storage along with the new video card for $2429.
The Gamer Paladin F875 has a Core i7 950 CPU, 6GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, and the same 850W PSU and video card for $1859. The final machine is the LAN Warrior II with the video card, 6GB of RAM, Blu-ray drive, 1000W PSU, and a Core i7 950 PSU starting at $1899.
When it comes to gaming computers more choice is always a good thing. Gaming PC maker iBUYPOWER has announced three new gaming desktops for gamers of all varieties that are interesting in the new AMD Radeon 6800 series video cards that launched last week. The new machines include the Gamer Mage D295 desktop that is [...]

I just mentioned the new 3D gaming notebook from iBUYPOWER. The company has also unveiled a pair of new gaming desktops based on the NVIDIA GTX 460 video card that was unveiled recently. The new systems include the Paladin E370 and the Paladin F860 machines.
Both of the new desktops use a standard clocked GTX 460 video card offering decent performance without breaking the bank. iBUYPOWER is a familiar name around here, and when they keep launching cool things like this, we’re not surprised. This time around it’s not a piece of excellent PC gaming hardware, but more on the software side of things. The company has just announced that MAGIC is available for all of their multitouch-capable gaming rigs. What is MAGIC? Well, follow after the break to find out.
Multitouch Advanced Gaming Interface and Control (MAGIC). It’s iBUYPOWER’s proprietary multitouch software, which was specifically designed to work in conjunction with iBUYPOWER’s multitouch gaming notebooks. The idea is that if you install this software on your multitouch notebook, you’ll be able to play any game with the technology. Which, as you’d expect, means that the games open a lot of new doors for the experience.
It works by allowing MAGIC to link a multitouch gesture to a specific command. You’ll be emulating mouse-clicks and keyboard strokes just by a simple gesture with this software, which should make plenty of gamers out there happy with the options. Plus, just doing a few strokes with your finger, as opposed to clicking a key, may not be the quickest implementation, but at least it’s awesome to watch and do.
“Multi touch is one of the fastest growing PC gaming interfaces,” said Darren Su, Executive Vice President of iBUYPOWER. “Our motivation behind creating the Multi-touch Advanced Gaming Interface and Control—MAGIC—is to instantly expand compatibility of multi-touch interfaces to nearly every application you can imagine.”
Press Release:
El Monte, CA – July 1, 2010 – iBUYPOWER, three-time winner of Intel’s Most Innovative Desktop Solution award, is excited to announce the Multi-touch Advanced Gaming Interface and Control (MAGIC), proprietary multi-touch software designed exclusively for use with iBUYPOWER’s line of multi-touch gaming notebooks. Developed in the iBUYPOWER Labs, MAGIC software allows users to play any game with multi-touch, creating a unique and completely customizable gaming experience.
MAGIC links a multi-touch gesture to a command the game already understands, emulating multitouch commands by mapping keystrokes or mouse clicks. Gamers simply create a customizable profile for each game assigning Tap, Pan (Drag), Rotate, and 2 Finger Tap actions to existing game commands.
MAGIC Software is available for free download on http://www.ibuypower.com/magic/download.aspx and is usable with iBUYPOWER’s newest multi-touch gaming notebook, the Battalion Touch CZ-11.
