Novero unveils new hands free car kits for installers
Posted by MobiG @ 3:27 pm

Novero has several very nice Bluetooth devices that let drivers talk on their phones without having to take their hands off the wheel. Novero has announced a couple new hands free car kits that promise luxury audio quality at a good price. The two new products are called TheTrulyOne and TheTrustyOne.

The two devices are optimized for professional installers and support a number of different handsets. Novero claims that the devices offer installers the same performance as line-fit systems in cars that come from the factory with hands free already installed.

The kits both feature voice dialing, voice-controlled SMS messaging and email with compatible handsets. The audio is sent through the cars speakers and the devices have echo cancellation, noise reduction, and adjustable mics. TheTrulyOne sells for $159, TheTrustyOne sells for $119, and both are available right now.

Novero unveils Bluetooth Victoria jewelry for the ladies
Posted by MobiG @ 3:34 pm

My wife is one of those women who puts as much stock in how something looks as she does in how it works. She has bought more than one junk gadget over the years just because it was “cute” in her opinion. For all the ladies out there who want a Bluetooth headset, but want it to look good too Novero has unveiled the new Victoria line.

The Victoria line comes in different styles and puts Bluetooth technology for hands free phone calls into a device that looks like jewelry, albeit some edgy jewelry. The Victoria collection focuses more on the style than the hardware specifications, but Novero is known to make some nice Bluetooth gear so quality should be good.

The collection includes the Victoria Lapis, Pearl, Stripes, Wave, and the Victor. The devices apparently use the same Bluetooth innards and only vary in style. Novero also built a collection of mega high-end Victoria gear using precious metals and gems that are valued at about $120,000 each. You can commission your own high-end piece of you want and have an extra $120k lying around.

Strange product names aside, the gear is interesting. TheTalkyOne is a Bluetooth speakerphone designed to be used in the car or in the office. The device has text-to-speech feature and can read the names of callers aloud from caller ID and can read text messages to you while you drive. The device can pair with two phones at once and has DSP noise reduction and echo cancellation features. The battery is good for 180 hours on standby and 15 hours of talk time.

TheTravelOne is a charger that can be used all around the world with adapter plugs for the US, UK, EU, and NZ sockets. The device is offered in black or white colors and has a microUSB cable for charging from a computer. TheCarOne is a microUSB cable charger that plugs into the DC outlet in your car. All the gear is available on Amazon with TheTalkyOne at $139, TheTravelOne for $39.95, and TheCarOne for $29.95.

Novero offers new Lexington Bluetooth headset aimed at men
Posted by MobiG @ 5:05 pm

Novero has been around for a while and has a Bluetooth that it offered last year that was its first offering dubbed The First One. I played with the handset a bit and it worked quite well. The company has now unveiled its next Bluetooth headset called the Lexington, which is a better name than The Second One.

The Lexington has a design that is aimed at men looking for a high-tech and understated headset. I don’t see why women wouldn’t like the headset too though, assuming they don’t want pink like my wife. The headset has brushed steel and piano black accents. Novero promises the headset will last for 20 hours of talk time when used with the included charging case.

The case has its own internal battery and can charge the headset fully four times. The case is covered in Italian leather. A brushed steel clip lets the user attach the headset to their clothing and the Lexington uses dual mics for noise reduction. The Lexington headset includes a car charger, car mount, wall charger, USB cable, and eight interchangeable ear loops. It will ship in April at an undisclosed price.
