Entertainment Earth’s Iron Man 2 Mark V Briefcase is Expensive Accessory
Posted by MobiG @ 12:10 am

Creating replicas from movies is an age-old past time for a few out there, and when you’ve got a hit on your hands, you know it. For Entertainment Earth, their brand new Iron Man briefcase hits the nail right on the head with its design and aesthetics. Created from aluminum and painted bright red, with all of the right accents in place, and featuring an inside with laser-cut EVA foam, Stark logo, and leather pockets.

Unfortunately, the briefcase doesn’t hold any secrets inside, like the Mark V armor that everyone wants. But, there are options. You could get the UD Replicas’ Iron Man 2 Mark V motorocycle outfit, which does a good job of making you look like you’re wearing a suit of armor. Or, you could just get yourself a suit, some sunglasses, and then carry the briefcase around, and call yourself Tony Stark. The briefcase itself will run you $459.99, and it’s available right now.

R2-D2 Toy Responds to 40 Voice Commands, Will Play Tag
Posted by MobiG @ 11:34 pm

Every time you watch Star Wars, and R2-D2 rolls out into the scene, do you ever find yourself thinking, “Hey, I want one of those.”? Well, if you have, there’s a brand new way for you to get your hands on one. This new toy, powered by a bevy of batteries, is designed to bring R2-D2 to life, as much as that’s possible, anyway. With the ability to walk around your home in that trademark waddle, and respond to your voice commands, it will definitely feel like you’ve got the real deal.

R2D2

This R2-D2 replica, which is completely motorized and multi-functional, has all sorts of cool features. For example, you can talk to it. You can say things like, “Turn around,” and “Move forward two units,” and he will follow your instructions to the best of its ability. It also features all sorts of sensors inside of it. The primary one would be the infrared sensors within, giving it the ability to follow you around, as well as avoid obstacles that are surely placed all over your abode.

It’s able to recognize over 40 voice commands, and R2-D2 can even play tag with you. And, while having a robot chase you around may bring nightmares to most, this is R2-D2. Enough said. You’ll need batteries to make him work, though. Four AA batteries, and four DD ones, too. And the price isn’t cheap, either, but not that you should have expected it to be. At $199.95, you’ll definitely have to ask for this guy for Christmas.

UD Replicas to offer Wolverine motorcycle suit from X2 film
Posted by MobiG @ 3:23 pm

I really liked the X-Men films that were released in theaters. In fact, I have liked most of the films based on the cartoons and comic books of my youth. I might be a fan of the Marvel superheroes, but a grown man has to draw the line somewhere and dressing like a superhero on any day other than Halloween is crossing the line.

If you are extra geeky and think dressing like Wolverine would be cool, UD Replicas has your outfit. The company has announced that it is working on a replica of the motorcycle suit worn by Wolverine in the X2: X-Men United film. The replica is based on the actual suit used to film the movie and is licensed by Marvel.

The suit includes leather pants, jacket, and gloves. The gloves have Kevlar inserts in the palm and the entire suit is made from four different kinds of leather that is hand worked into the suit. Other features include CE-approved removable body armor and a formed muscle panel for the torso. The company is also working on a replica of the Iron Man 2 Mark V Suitcase suit for the films debut.

Iron Man FX Arc Reactor – The Perfect Paperweight For The Multi-Billionaire In Your Life

When I first saw the Iron Man movie a couple years back, I thought it would be cool to have that original arc reactor sitting on my desk like Tony Stark did. I figured that in no time Marvel would cash in and start selling replicas. Apparently they decided to wait until the second movie was getting ready to come out, as they’ve finally decided to put one on the market.

For $150 you can have your own aluminum and stainless steel replica arc reactor. It’s even got a number of LED’s to give it that wonderful glow, if you’re into that. The full-size prop replica comes in the same plexi-glass case that you saw in the movie, though you can take it out if you wish. Sadly, it will not power your own homemade Iron Man suit.
