I’ve heard of people selling and purchasing items, gold and even characters for real money. Personally, I think they are crazy. It’s just a game. Some people must be pretty desperate to make themselves feel good. One guy even paid close to $10,000 for a character.

it is petty dumb that somebody would do that, the person was probibly really rich and did not care for what he spent his money on.
